United Way of Central Eastern California (UWCEC) & Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) are proud to present Feeding Families First, a collaborative summer food distribution. This is a community-driven response supported by partnerships with CAPK and regional grocery retailers.
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help bring this effort to life at our Lake Isabella Location.
Volunteer roles include:
- Greeters/Registration: Welcome attendees and assist with check-in.
- Sorters: Organize and prepare food items for distribution.
- Food Prep Station: Assist with packing meals.
- Meal Distributors: Hand out meals to families.
- Floaters: Provide flexible support wherever needed.
