In order to become a VITA volunteer, you must attend an orientation meeting and VITA IRS training. You only need to attend 1 orientation date out of the 2 below, choose which one you would like to attend by clicking "respond". If you are a returning volunteer, you do not need to attend an orientation.
What is VITA?
VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) falls under the United Way of Central Eastern California economic resilience department, which is a free income tax assistance program that has granted low-income families and single individuals the option of not having to pay for such an expensive service, while still receiving quality work. This program is volunteer based.
